Terms of service

These terms cover your use of this website. They do not cover a trip you book. Booking a trip creates a separate agreement between you and Arkanum Adventures, handled through our booking provider, with its own terms, payment schedule and cancellation position. Read those before you pay anything.

You may read this site, print it, and share links to it. Do not copy it wholesale, scrape it, or present our photographs and words as your own.

Do not use the forms to send anything unlawful, abusive or deliberately false, and do not use them to send bulk or automated messages.

We publish trip details, routes, accommodation and prices in good faith and keep them as accurate as we can. Trips listed as finished show the prices published at the time, which are historical and are not on offer.

Prices, dates, routes, accommodation and staffing can change. Activities can be altered or dropped for weather, safety or local conditions. Nothing on this website is an offer or a guarantee of a place at a given price.

The price that binds is the one confirmed to you in writing at the point of booking. If something here contradicts your booking confirmation, the booking confirmation is correct. If you spot a mistake on this site, please tell us.

Our downloadable guides describe how we run trips and what things cost, as at the date on the guide. They are written to help you decide, including by helping you question other operators. They are not a contract and they are not advice about your particular circumstances.

If you give us your email address, you are agreeing to receive emails from us about our trips. You can unsubscribe at any time, and every marketing email carries a link to do it.

Booking runs through WeTravel, and some pages link to maps, accommodation and other outside sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them or for what they do with your details.

We provide this website as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or entirely free of errors.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the current version is always the one on this page.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
